Rocket Roadster is a free hobby game. It sets no cookies, shows no ads and does not track you across sites. It collects no personal data, so nothing here asks for your consent.
Your best score and whether sound is muted, in your browser's local storage, so they survive a reload. They never leave your device. Clearing site data removes them.
On rocket-roadster.com, each finished run sends: how long it lasted, the score, whether you play on a touch screen, which version of the game you have, and a random number that is created when the page loads and forgotten when you close it. It tells apart runs from one visit; it is never stored on your device and can't recognise you on a later visit.
The server adds your country, which Cloudflare works out from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored with the run. Countries appear on the in-game leaderboard; nothing else about a run is public.
This data is anonymous and is used only to see how the game is played and to run the leaderboard.
To keep the leaderboard fair, a run is checked with Cloudflare Turnstile, an invisible bot check that runs in your browser. Cloudflare describes how it handles that data in its Turnstile privacy addendum.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare (rocket-roadster.com) and GitHub Pages (paidem.github.io). Like any web host they receive your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the service, and may keep it in short-lived logs. The game's author has no access to those logs.
